Shafaat Ahmed is an Indian journalist and writer based in the city of dreams — Dubai. Words have been his constant companions since he fell in love them as a child and has been wedded to them ever since. Toying with the written letters and giving new meaning to them is a burning passion. So far the match has proved to be fruitful and all signs indicate to an enduring lifelong liaison.
Born in November 1981 in the small coastal town of Bhatkal in the southern Indian state of Karnataka, he was raised and educated in his native, Dubai and India’s IT city Bangalore. He has a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Diploma in Journalism. An avid reader and a keen observer, Shafaat regularly writes for Khaleej Times, where he works as a Reporter.
